Ashford Counselling Service is committed to helping those in need by providing professional and affordable counselling services to the local area. We all have times in our lives that are more difficult than others. Sometimes this leads to our feelings and emotions becoming overwhelming and more than we can cope with.
Counselling, sometimes called talking therapy, involves meeting regularly with a counsellor to talk about your problems, in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space.
Professional Support from a counsellor can help you deal with:
- depression, low mood
- anxiety, panic attacks, paranoia
- low self-esteem, self harm
- anger issues, emotional control
- bereavement, redundancy, divorce
- trauma/surviving abuse
- personal growth
Referral
Our clients may be referred to us by their GP, or they may self refer.
Self referral
If you wish to contact us please telephone 01233 610083. Our administrative staff work part-time, mostly weekday mornings. Additionally one of our counsellors may be able to take your call, however if they are in session, or it is outside their working hours, they may not be able to assist, so please leave your name and contact number and we should respond to you within one to two working days.
