Individual Counselling

Life sometimes presents us with many trials and tribulations that can feel overwhelming. Counselling, or talking therapy is somewhere you can come to talk about your problems, in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space.

At ACS our experienced counsellors seek to understand your problems or challenges in order to improve your well-being.  We work with you to explore what may be causing you distress, to help you feel understood and enable you to discover the way forward.  Counselling can enable you to recognise your strengths and find more effective ways of living.

Some clients come to us because we have been recommended by their GP or another support organisation; some by personal recommendation and some via our website.  You can also contact us directly without a referral by telephone or email.

After contacting us we will normally arrange a short telephone assessment to agree with you what help you need.  We offer one to one sessions, each lasting 50 minutes.  Generally your treatment lasts for as long as needed to improve your well-being.

Your counsellor will meet with you in our counselling rooms at Church Road, Willesborough.  You can been seen weekdays between 8am and 8pm.  Saturday appointments may also be possible, please ask for further details.

Alternatively it may be possible for you to have counselling sessions online (e.g. Zoom)
